Tech Preview

Tech Preview is a set of experimental features hidden inside the LAPLACE Chat dashboard. It is disabled by default and must be activated via an easter egg before use.

This feature was released on May 16, 2025.

How to activate

In the dashboard:

1. Open the Settings panel in the sidebar
2. Scroll to the very bottom of the panel and find the Powered by laplace.live text on the divider
3. Click that text 6 times in a row to toggle Tech Preview mode on or off

Once activated, the state is persisted in your local browser, so it remains in effect after you refresh or reopen the dashboard. Click 6 times again to disable it.

Stability

Although most features in Tech Preview are stable enough for everyday use, they are still hidden by default:

• Primarily aimed at developers and streamers who need debugging capabilities
• Or simply if you are curious
• No guarantee of backward compatibility for features, UI, or behavior

If you are a regular user/streamer, there is no need to enable this mode.
